Kimberly Sager Pehrson (co-founder): Busy working mom of one and football coaches wife, Kim wanted a way to connect with parents who she actually had common interests with. She also wanted event variety that fit her ever-changing schedule. From this need, the idea for Social Cub was born. With a degree in Anthropology and Early childhood education from University of Texas coupled with the experience she has gained serving as the VP of Sales and Marketing for a national food brokerage and trading company, Kim has a strong background and skill set to leverage as the driving force bringing Social Cub to parents who want to connect and play.
She is excited to be starting a business which she has a need for and is eager to use herself. Kim starts every day with a run to not only workout, but clear her mind and brainstorm new ideas. She loves cooking with colorful ingredients and watching Food Network for inspiration, believes Disney World is the best place on Earth, and is happiest watching movies and taking walks with her family.
